Mini Basketball (1st and 2nd grade) has been cancelled for Saturday, 1/31. We will use the make-up date of March 7th. Picture day has been moved to Saturday, 2/21.

Wee Ski Update ❄️ Due to the extremely cold temperatures, Wee Ski is cancelled for Friday, January 30th. A makeup session will be held on Friday, February 13th.

🔴Red Flag for Ice Skating at Town Park Pond🔴
⛸️As of 1pm today, 1/29/26, ice skating is CLOSED at the Town Park Pond. There is a hole in the pond that is making it unsafe for skating conditions. We will continue to update as conditions change.⛸️

Family Game Night has been moved from Friday, 3/13 to Saturday, 3/14. Still @ LES from 6-8pm. :)

Men's Basketball has been cancelled for the remainder of the season.

Join Prodigy Athletics starting next Wednesday, 1/21, for a fun, engaging, & educational volleyball clinic aimed at both beginners & intermediate players in grades 3-8. Bussing is available from all KLSD elementary schools & JJMS! 🏐

Join us for a Paper Airplane Contest on February 28th at LES, led by 9-year-old resident, Aiden! You can make your plane on-site (supplies provided) or at home prior to the contest. Design begins at 2:00pm, contest takes off at 2:30pm. Prizes will be awarded & there are 5 different age brackets in which to compete! Aiden & Lewisboro Parks & Rec hope to see you there. 🛬

Our youngest athletes started our Saturday off at LES with Kindergarten Basketball (led by Tyler Sayre and the JJ Varsity team) and Pre-K Basketball at IMES with @a1athleticsny. Our tiny players learned about dribbling & shooting, got their own basketball & Lewisboro t-shirt, and were super cute, enthusiastic learners. It’s always a good time with our Pre-K and Kindergarten players!

Grades 3-6 can now join A1 Athletics to learn the game of pickleball! Serve, volley, and rally your way to fun! Kids will learn the basics of Pickleball, including serving, scoring, and teamwork in a playful, supportive environment. Join Coach Tobin for an instructional basketball program for players interested in a non-competitive sports environment where fundamentals and skills of basketball such as dribbling, shooting and passing are explored in an inclusive, controlled setting. Attention Grades 3-8! Come enjoy your day off from school on January 2nd for a fun filled day at Camelback! Snowtubing isn’t just the easiest way to go down the mountain — sometimes it’s the most fun. Not only will we be snowtubing, but we will be visiting Arcadia, the mega arcade! This two-level Poconos arcade has it all Including video games, rides, and prizes — lots and lots of prizes. Rack up high scores to redeem your tickets for a new toy. Then, do it again.

A fun, quick Lewisboro Town Pool bath house update! Things are moving along and we’re excited to track the progress of the new building this year & into 2026. 🏊

Gingerbread houses, snacks, drinks, laughter, & Christmas books & music. What’s better than that?! We had a blast creating gingerbread houses with this crew on Saturday. 🎄

Join Noreen Enright on Thursday, 12/18 at Cyrus Russell Community House for an unforgettable night of wreath making! You will be able to bring your beautiful creation home with you to hang on your door (along with the bragging rights that you made it, obviously). From CIT to Superintendent, Nicole has had a hand in everything parks & rec; camps, pools, Seniors, pickleball, fields, parks, youth and adult programming, and everything in between. There’s no one better to run our department, and now she has the title to match her wealth of knowledge and experience.

Men's Basketball is back for another season starting on Thursday, December 11th at JJMS. Adults 18+ can show up and play pick up from 8:30-10pm for $10 (residents) or $15 (non-residents) a night.

Mickey and Minnie, Santa, hot chocolate, jelly munchkins, a DJ, JJHS acapella groups, and candy canes! What's not to love? Come join us on Monday, December 1st from 6:30-7:30pm at Town Park. ❄️

Nicole, Katie, & Michael headed to the @nysrps conference last week to learn, network, & maaaaybe have a little fun. Ok, a lot of fun. We absolutely adore our fellow Rec professionals from Westchester & beyond and had a great time learning and hanging out alongside them.
